Welcome Steldawn Dogs, home to my family of
Norwegian Elkhounds & Japanese Shiba-Inu.
Since 1975 I have persevered to produce the
best stock possible, staying true to traditional lines and breed standards. My hard work, love, and care for my dogs has produced
Champions in both breeds, leading to the Steldawn name being renowned in many countries.
I myself am a succesful Championship Show Judge for Elkounds and Shibas, and have judged both breeds as well as Akitas at Crufts, the
world's largest dog show.
Despite my success both in and out of the ring however, I still strive to maintain that care and love which took me to where I am today. I am
happy to advise or assist anyone interested in my chosen breeds, no matter their level of knowledge. I hope you will find my site
interesting, and I look forward to meeting like minded individuals who share my passion for these wonderful dogs.
